Our Cooperative

Our Cooperative School

Our program offers many opportunities for families to get involved.  In addition to the parent/teacher partnership, being part of a coop helps build community and lifelong friendships.  Our coop requires parents to be part of a committee of your choosing.  Parents are free to choose the committee that best suits their talents, interests and time availability.

Why Choose a Cooperative Preschool?
There are many benefits of a cooperative school including:
  • bringing families with young children together around issues of education, parenting, community and care
  • allowing parents the opportunity to be involved in their child's early learning and social development
  • meeting parents who are committed to partnering with teachers to make the preschool experience the best it can be

 How does CCP's Coop work?

Parents are required to help on at least one committee and with school activities.  Parents may have the opportunity to volunteer in the classrooms.  Everyone who works in the classrooms must comply with EEC Background Record Check regulations.
More information can be found in our parent handbook.
